New stations and expansions
4 new stations in Forest: « Châtaignes », « Kersbeek », « Molière » and « Rosendael ».
4 new stations in Uccle: « Cavell », « De Fré », « Dieweg » and « Montjoie ». And in spring we will even add two more stations in this big community: Houzeau and Kauwerg.
A expansion of 2 up to 4 parking spaces per station was done in the Pentagone and in the European neighborhood, summing up to 37 extra places this year.
At Porte de Namur the 6 cars station turned into a 10 cars station after the reorganization of the little ring was finished and the station moved.
Plans for 2020
3 new stations in Woluwe-Saint-Pierre: Leopold, Museum (of trams) and White Star. Oree and Amitie (reinforcing thet station Stockel) are planned in spring 2020.
5 new stations are planned in the dense area of Molenbeek: Kareveld, Machtens and Jubilé, and at the metrostations Osseghem and Ribaucourt.
In Molenbeek the station Brunfaut was reopened.
We also hope to expand our offer in Koekelberg near the Basilique and the stops along tramline 19 (on the side of Seghers).
Ixelles: 2 places are added to « Blyckaerts », « Brugmann », « Châtelain » and « Cimetière ». And we will open new stations « Petite Suisse » and « Plaine » in the student area and near the ULB campus.
We will occupy the very much used station Sablon with cambio cars only.
Other opportunities will come on private grounds in cooperation with several real estate developers.
